We must address the New York deer overpopulation crisis

Deer overpopulation is at the center of an ecological catastrophe: one that threatens native biodiversity, human health and the very future of our forests.

We are building a movement to change hunting policy to effectively manage deer overpopulation in New York.

Forests across New York State are in decline.

To see the future of the forest, look down at the forest floor. Next time you are in the woods notice the lack of oak and maple saplings (2-5ft) - this is just the tip of the iceberg.
